Bill Thompson Award
Bill was completely devoted to the industry, his integrity and his knowledge of food and restaurant operations was unquestionable. In 2003 he won the Wine Press Club Award and in 2001 Bill was named a Legend of W.A’s Hospitality Industry.
A food & wine columnist for The Sunday Times for 33 years, beginning as the aptly named Night Owl and writing the popular Good Times pages. The Bill Thompson Award is open to all wait persons, including Team Leaders and Supervisors under the age of 25. Applicants must include all relevant documentation supporting the selection criteria, with payment on submission of entry.
